Big Whiskey’s newest limited-time offering is here and sure to please sports fans!
September 15th, 2023, Springfield, MO - Big Whiskey’s is known for being a sports-watching destination. The competitive environment and love of the game - any game - is what bred this fall’s limited-time menu - Table Tailgate.
To get the game day started, our Pre-Game Shareables are perfect for snacking and big enough to share with the whole team. Loyal Big Whiskey’s fans might be familiar with our Lineman Plate. This appetizer is a refreshed version of the Carnivore Basket - a staple menu offering from original menu in 2006, featuring two tender pork shanks tossed in the guest’s choice of Big Whiskey’s Buffalo or Mild sauce, a quarter rack of ribs smothered in our Honey Whiskey BBQ sauce, and six of our jumbo bone-in wings tossed in any of our 17 flavors.
For guests looking for a fan-favorite appetizer that’s sure to please the whole team, Big Whiskey’s is thrilled to offer Fry Flights! “This is our first try at a value appetizer, and we’re excited to see how this type of simple offering performs at a competitive price point and a healthy portion size,” said Big Whiskey’s owner and co-CEO, Paul Sundy.
For all the football lovers, we’ve got stadium-favorite entrees that are sure to bring back feelings of sitting on the 50-yard line. For guests who want to kick their meal up a notch, our Honey Stung Burger offers bold, spicy flavors with toppings like fried jalapeño bottle caps, pepper jack cheese, and a specialty honey cream cheese to bring the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. For the chicken lovers, we’ve created The Tailgaters Delight Chicken Sandwich, featuring a hand-breaded chicken breast topped with melted swiss cheese, crispy bacon, chipotle mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato, served on a pretzel bun with a side of Big Whiskey’s seasoned fries.
Finally, our Red Zone Libations are the perfect concoctions for the fall season. For our loyal whiskey lovers, the Smoked Old Fashioned offers a smoky flavor that will bring you right back to the tailgate. Made with Woodford Reserve Double-Oaked Bourbon, muddled orange, simple syrup, orange bitters and a small
splash of Filth Black Cherry juice, this drink is a staple of the season. In addition, the highly requested Blood Orange Margarita is back for another season! This drink was Big Whiskey’s top performing LTO drink of 2022, and is returning with a new salt/tajin rim and a dried Blood Orange slice, making this one-of-a-kind cocktail even more unique.
