Big Whiskey’s Poplar Bluff hosts record-breaking grand opening

November 2nd, 2023, Poplar Bluff, Missouri: Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant and Bar recently opened its 14th location in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, marking its most successful grand opening in a mid-sized community to date.

Poplar Bluff is home to about 16,000 people, which makes it one of the smallest markets that Big Whiskey’s has entered in its history. Within a week of its grand opening, the store generated over $100K in sales.

“We couldn’t be happier with Big Whiskey’s success in Poplar Bluff. People across the community and beyond came out to celebrate our grand opening, and we expect that engagement to continue. Big Whiskey’s is exactly what our city needed.” said David Vernon, a representative from the franchisee group.

Poplar Bluff’s opening marks the ninth Big Whiskey’s location in Missouri, and the first of 8 locations to open in the next 12 months across the nation.

Additional Big Whiskey’s locations are expected to open in 2024 in Davie, Florida; Hoover, Alabama; Hunstville, Alabama and across Missouri.
